Spend £50 with Amazon Prime Student and Get £10 Off With Code

Cyber Week is here! These deals are the best available right now, though you may need to be quick as some will sell out.

With Amazon Prime Day kicking off next Tuesday, 13 October, it’s clear Amazon is revving up its early deals to keep turning heads towards its Prime service.

After slashing 10% off Apple iTunes and App store gift cards, extending its Audible trial to 3 months, and offering £10 cashback on £10 purchases from small businesses – among many other early deals – Amazon is now offering £10 discounts to new Prime Student users, which includes anyone who has signed up after 5 October. Head to Amazon to sign up to Amazon Prime Student now

Purchases of £50 or more with a Prime Student account get £10 off, but only until 14 October, which is also when Prime Day ends. Just remember to use the code STUDENT10 at checkout.

See our full guide to Prime Day for everything there is to know about the event.

Get a six month Prime Student Trial

The benefit of a Prime Student account is you have six months to decide whether you want to pay for the service – instead of just 30 days, which is the trial period for a standard account. You can cancel anytime.

If you do decide to keep the service, Prime Student also costs 50% less than the standard account. Where a regular Prime account costs £7.99 per month, or £59 annually, a Prime Student account costs £3.99 or £39 per year. Head over to Amazon to learn more about Prime Student pricing.

What the difference between Prime Student and a standard Prime account?

There is no difference in the services included in a Prime Student account compared to a regular Prime account.

You still get all the benefits of Prime including free next-day delivery, Prime Video, Prime Music, and early access to deals, to name just a few.

There are also student-specific benefits on Prime Student like 10% off textbooks and clothing. See our full guide to Amazon Prime for students.

This Prime Day, we’ll be looking at all the best deals on Amazon and beyond. We’ll also track the best Apple deals over at our sister site Macworld UK.
